Hi Definition TV (HDTV)

Choosing the right TV can be a complicated endeavor. The first decision you should make about your new TV should be "Where will the new TV be located in our home?" Is it going to sit on an entertainment center or hang on the wall? All rear-projection, LCD, and Plasma TV's come with stands and are capable of resting on a piece of furniture designed to support their weight. Only LCD and Plasma TV's can be wall mounted.

After making a decision on where you want the TV you should consider the size and general specifications. Use the chart (Bottom Right) to determine if you need a television capable of displaying 720 or 1080 lines of vertical resolution.
